Q: IF I REGISTER FOR THE EVENT, WHAT WILL BE THE INCLUSION IN MY REGISTRATION FEE?

A: If you register in SuBIT 2021, your entry fee will include your race kit, race bib, swim cap, timing chip rental, finisher’s medal and event shirt. A separate fee will be charged for the full board and lodging overnight stay in a hotel and shuttle from hotel to race venue and back.

Q: CAN I REGISTER FOR THE RACE EVEN IF I AM NOT INOCULATED FOR COVID-19?

A: Yes you can. However, we encourage everyone to be inoculated before the race as additional protection for you and the people involved in the race.

Q: IN CASE THAT I GOT TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 DAYS BEFORE THE RACE IN SUBIC, HOW WILL IT BE MANAGED AND WILL I GET MY REGISTRATION FEE BACK?

A: If you tested positive to Covid-19, you have to inform your LGU. Your registration fee is non-refundable. Each participant has to practice individual responsibility. 

Q: I REGISTERED FOR 2020 SUBIT BEFORE IT WAS CANCELLED BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC. WILL I BE AUTOMATICALLY DEFERRED TO THIS YEAR’S RACE?

A: No. You will not be automatically registered to 2021 SuBIT. All participants must register anew via Raceyaya. A refund for any excess amount paid will be given onsite for those who have registered for 2020 SuBIT. Just show your proof of payment for both races.

Q: WE ARE FROM VISAYAS-MINDANAO AREA; CAN WE REGISTER FOR THE EVENT?

A: Yes, as long as all safety protocol by your LGU, airline carrier and event organizers are followed.

Q: IF I ALREADY REGISTERED BUT THE EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO UNFORESEEN SITUATIONS, AM I ABLE TO GET FULL REFUND?

A: Paid fees are non-refundable, non-transferable & non-creditable to future TRAP races.

Q: WHY AM I GROUPED IN 30-34 AGE CATEGORY WHEN MY CURRENT AGE IS 29?

A: SuBIT and other TRAP races follow the tri-age rule of the World Triathlon. Tri-age is computed by the current year less your birth year. 

Q: MY TEAMMATE AND I WANT TO JOIN THE EVENT; CAN WE SHARE ONE ROOM AND BOOK TWIN OCCUPANCY?

A: In accordance with IATF safety protocol, only those who live in the same household can share a room. To avail, send proof of same residence (any valid IDs with same residential address) to [email protected] to get a code and instruction on how to book a hotel room.

Q: IS IT OKAY IF MY ACCOMPANYING GUEST IS NOT FROM THE SAME HOUSEHOLD?

A: Yes. However, you are required to upgrade your accommodation to two (2) single occupancy so that it is in accordance to IATF safety protocol. 

Q: CAN I CHOOSE MY ACCOMMODATION FROM THE LIST OF YOUR PREFERRED HOTELS?

A: You cannot choose your preferred hotel in this race but will have an option to choose a room type. The organizers have partner hotels who will provide full board and lodging for this bubble triathlon. Upon registration, your assigned hotel will be sent to you in the email confirmation. 

Q: DOES MY ACCOMPANYING GUEST NEED TO UNDERGO THE SAME HEALTH SCREENING PROCEDURES I HAVE TO FOLLOW FOR THE EVENT?

A: Yes your accompanying guest needs to follow the same health screening procedures and follow the same protocol for the event.

Q: CAN I HAVE AN ADDITIONAL GUEST, ASIDE FROM THE ONE REGISTERED, ON MY/THEIR OWN ACCOUNT?

A: Sorry but a participant is only allowed one companion each. 

Q: CAN WE GO TO SUBIC ON AN EARLIER DATE AND LEAVE ON A LATER DATE?

A: All participants of the race and their plus 1 companion are prescribed to arrive in Subic on September 18, 2021 to enter the bubble and leave Subic right after the race on September 19, 2021.

Q: CAN WE HAVE OUR OWN MEALS BESIDES THE ONE PROVIDED BY THE HOTEL?

A: Online food delivery is not allowed to avoid spread of virus inside the bubble.

Q: HOW DOES THE SHUTTLE SERVICE DURING THE EVENT WORK?

A: Each hotel will be provided with their designated shuttle on race day. A certain schedule will be followed. All participants will be guided by our transportation team and supervised by our safety officials.

Q: HOW CAN MY FAMILY MEMBERS WATCH MY RACE?

A: The organizers will have an event coverage and post in on its FB page after the event. Spectators are discouraged to watch the race onsite following IATF’s prohibition on mass gathering.

1. Registration is confirmed upon payment. Payment methods are via Paypal or via Dragonpay which has 40+ bank, Gcash and Payment Centers from which you can choose from. To avoid cancellation of your registration, please take note of the specific instructions provided by Dragonpay which will depend on your payment center chosen. You can always go back to your account to change your preferred payment method.

2. Hotel Accomodation for Single Room is Mandatory. You may choose the upgrade options for Twin Sharing or Extra Single Room.

3. Don't forget to fill up the name of your companion, if any. You can still update this in your profile until August 15, 2021.

4. An email confirmation will be sent after receipt of your payment and your status will be changed to PAID. Please expect the validation of your registration within 24H..
